Boost them? Still take a while but for 10 gems you cant complain too much
I believe they used to take 2 hrs when it came out. It that isn't bad enough for you, the Santa spell took 25 hours

I agree that spell times now are much better than they used to be. But, I still think they should be reduced to around 15 minutes per. I would practice my war techniques a lot more often if I could cook spells faster.
They may have taken that long a while back but now since they are normally used they take more time and when it comes to war I'm not patient enough to wait for my spells to finish for me to attack. I just boosted my spells but those were my only gems now I'm out 😬😬
That's really your problem them. Don't want to wait? Gem them. No gems? Better buy some or wait. Honestly if you can't wait an hour or two for spells, you'd probably go insane later on in the game considering some armies takes that long to train.
Wait until you get up to the higher Town Halls and experience a 14 day upgrade waiting period. A couple hours for a few spells is the least of your worries.

I actually agree with this. Even boosted it takes an hour to cook all 5 spells while a gowipe or lavaloonion takes 25 minutes. It sucks waiting double the time it takes to make an army while your spells finish. It's a pretty big waste of gems, especially when you consider a full attack really requires the use of at least 4 spells but normally all 5.

I can wait on upgrades because you don't need those for a succesful attack
