I've always played with sound off because I'm normally watching tv or something at the same time. I didn't even know the clan castle made a sound when troops were coming out of it. I turned it on once just to see but got too annoying with every single thing making a noise.

Lol I'm actually the opposite.... I absolutely love the CoC theme music and the sound fx. Its all apart of my gaming experience, and I can't even attack without turning the sound on. When I listen to other music its actually a distraction....

I can remember being amazed on how cool the PEKKA sounded when she was in battle... or how annoying the witch skellies sounded.

How many here play with the sound effects on? I do

What is your favourite sound effect for a structure when clicked, or troop in action on the field? Your least favourite? Favorite is Wizard attacking, least is wallbreaker sound.

I also clash in silence, no music, no sound affects.

Would not even know what my favourite sound effect is I've listened to so few of them.

Wow I'm surprised how many people don't like the sound effects or music. I personally like them both. The only thing I find annoying is the Valkyrie's sound effect, but I don't use them for now so it doesn't matter.

Having the sound effects on has many advantages. You can hear the CC activate, hear when the enemy heroes get aggro'd, hear when your troops or heroes are dying, hear when different defenses are firing, etc. There can be a lot of things happening during an attack, and the sound effects enable you to keep track of it all better and react to things faster, because you can't be looking everywhere at once. I feel like turning the sound effects off would actually be handicapping yourself slightly.

Thats exactly why I like keeping the sound fx and music on. I feel like I can't attack without them!
