Best solution I could think of - To the "NEXT" complainers!

Let's assume a few things before we get into the thick of things.
    1) I'll be speaking as a TH9.
    2) No. I don't think you are all TH9s.
    3) Yes, this idea is actually decent.

    Alright. Basically, here's the deal.
Finding a new match costs me 750 gold.
Not much I'd say if I found my match in about 30-40 nexts.
I usually look for 150k+ gold when I'm farming.
And I don't find that many times in almost 100 nexts.
    That's 750*100 = 75000 gold.
    Now that's a problem.

    Here's the solution.
For my first 10 Nexts, finding a match will cost me 250 gold.
    Next 10: 500
    Next 10: 600
    Next 30: 750
    Remaining nexts: 1000

Basically, since this gold goes nowhere, you're reducing the gold required to next for a person with low expectations, and the high next cost after 60 Nexts is 1000, which will reduce snipers, since they Next hundreds of times.
    Sounds good?
    Lemme know.

    I love this idea man.

I would prefer the opposite if anything but no thats a bad idea too
This severely punishes the unlucky people who actually dont find anything, a problem which is quite frequent at th10.

The problem is that people could easily just next 10 times, end, and restart, cutting down next costs hugely.

It would mean troops take longer to train, but I agree it would certainly be an issue. I think other than this problem it's not a bad idea, but this could be a big problem.

You could just take anything you see with around 90k (with the loot bonus) or 100k gold. I do that and I don't have any reason to complain concerning loot. League and time zone differences could make it harder, but you should be find just doing that instead of going for more loot.

Thank you Milos for the sig pic!!

I read what you guys had to say (and sorry for being so late with the reply - exam time).
Anyway, as TreeBranchTwig pointed out, people can not override the system by nexting 10 times, then going back to base, because it would increase troop training times.

And yes, everyone has different loot expectations which depend on a LOT of factors, so I wonder how my idea fits in with those factors.

This is NOT a bump. I just didn't have the time to log in to the forums to check for replies and such.

I don't get how is training time affected by someone pressing "end battle" and searching again for a match. Please explain.

I don't see the correlation either.

I also don't see how the problem of clicking next 100 times to find a single base with enough resources to attack for is improved by making it more expensive. All that means is that I will be forced to take a net loss sooner. There are many ideas better than this one for solving the nexting issue.

Once you hit the attack button, all of your troops go to war and free up your barracks. If you hit next 100 times taking max time lets say and then finally battle, you may be ready to fight your next war already because your new troops would have been building while you are in 'attack mode.'
