You're basing this comment off of one player. The contrast between the two players here is much higher than it actually is. These are the kinda comments that scare people from upgrading to th 10. The fact that someone caught up to a guy who upgraded th before getting lavas while the other guy did full lavas just shows how dedicated he is. It didnt prove anything.
If you're a hardcore clasher you'll get your walls done almost as fast whether you're th 9 or 10. (Check out the players like unity sharp or tyrael...they got zaps when th 10 first came out and loot was horrible) if you're not a hardcore clasher then you wont get lvl 10-11 walls done either way.
And might i add that there are quite a few 10s who have farmed lvl 11 walls which cost equal to doing both lvl 9 and 10 walls. It's all about dedication. (Not everyone uses the forums. Most of the asian players are hardcore farmers and a bare minimum use the forums because of their language barrier)

If you want to get full lavas get them at TH9 or forget about them. 3m at TH9 (most of which would come from collector raids) is the equivalent of 4M at TH10 (most of which comes from storage raids). Yes, its possible to make a lot of gold at TH10 and there are very good loot days as well, but its a lot easier to get lavas at TH9.

Lava walls cost 3m, they are obviously not for casual players who want to log in once every other hour to grab some loot with their loonian army, if you are a casual player you should absolutely upgrade to TH10 as soon as your defenses are maxed.
After having everything except walls and heroes maxed out at th 10 i dont mind those bases but i rarely go for anything below 150k of each which isnt as rare as the forum thinks. Sure there are dry days as well as good loot days but it's nowhere near as bad as the forums make it out to be. Otherwise there wouldn't be th farmers with lvl 11 walls. (Which by your comparison would be 5.25 M at th 9 )

TH10 is the least fun of all THs.... thats why.

Unless you want to gem and hunt cups, you will find yourself reminiscing on TH9 / TH8 loot and wondering why you are still pressing next and not watching the grass grow in your garden...just like I am wondering right now.

I doubt you even read the contents of the thread. I've already stated that all i have left to upgrade are my heroes and walls. If you cant farm right while many others are doing fine at th 10 then maybe the problem is with yours?
NB : if you're a new th 10 then wait a week or so, it takes a while for loot to get better after every th upgrade.

I am a TH9 as you can see in my signature. But I also do have a mini account that is TH10. I can directly compare loot and I can tell you farming is WAY easier at TH9. Of course you will get used to worse loot after some time but it's still worse!

Farming TH11 walls it not an impossible task, it just takes dedication, but a dedicated player will have the walls maxed by the time the defenses finish upgrading. I had to stay an extra month at TH9 to finish my lava walls and it was worth it, I already have 60 zaps and just finished maxing my infernos at TH10. Dedicated players are not scared from upgrading to th10. It is a challenge. You can no longer barch TH8s for epic loot, you will have to push to a high league and the margin of error is very low. I like that, I like that every million gold I farm is made up of those raids.

I still think that you should stay at TH9 if you haven't finished lava walls but you are close to it (70%+ done), if you are a casual player don't even start lavas - you will begin to hate the game.

Sorry buddy. Did not mean to sound flippant...

But look at my base...I sorta know what I am talking about.

If all you have left to do at TH9 is walls and heroes, do them. TH10 is not gona make either of those tasks easier...well, maybe heroes due to the extra drill...debatable.

If you are a farmer, then farm as much as you can in a spot that offers the most loot before moving...that goes for trophy range AND most importantly TH level.

Almost all of the players that I started playing with have quit because of crappy loot and lack of content.

Half way done with zaps here...the novelty of raid satisfaction wears off after months of extensive next pressing...Im down from maybe 30 raids a day to 2-3...if that. The game is kinda broke for players like me...

    Staying th9 to max everything

I've posted on the forums a number of times asking whether I should complete lavas and heroes as a th9, or go straight to th10. After putting a lot of thought to this, I made the decision to stay th9, and so far I'm extremely happy with this choice. I've completed 43 lavas (averaging 5-7 per day) and have both my royals going to lvl 22.

Like a lot people say, stay th9 as long as you can. But only do so if you're a dedicated player raiding constantly everyday. Personally, I like the challenge of farming walls, and I always feel satisfied completing everything before moving on. If you're just a casual player who goes on for a bit every few hours, upgrade th10 and have fun with the new toys (also because farming lavas will drive casual players insane).

    I'm a nearly-maxed TH9 and I go back-n-forth on the TH10 subject.

On one hand my heroes are approaching max (one going to 25 other going to 27 atm). Further, my lab has been working non-stop and I still have ~ 40 days to finish Valks and Healers. It would be really fun to stay TH9 for another ~2 months to max heroes and then do some war and beat up other bases. Plus, there is a huge right to brag associated with a TH9 with 30/30 heroes. And having strong heroes is going to make farming TH10 a lot easier right off the bat.

On the other hand, I've only got 75 lavas and it would take me a long time to finish those. I would easily have heroes done before lavas, probably by 2 months or more. I find it boring farming walls, but I also know that every wall I do as TH9 is easier than as TH10.

Right now I'm hanging as TH9 probably long enough to finish 100% of lab. Once that happens, I might just bite the bullet. Or I'll change my mind again. Who knows lol.
