researching while upgrading laboratory?

back when dragons were single target they continued while laboratory upgraded not sure about now

Last month it continued while your lab upgrade was going. Not sure about this month, I'll let you know in another few months when I pull the trigger on TH10.

It continues. This is either a glitch in the past few months...or it has always been that way and there is bad information going around.

Anyone who says it pauses it is spreading false information.

It might have paused before, but doesn't do so anymore. The research does continue Its been that way since the halloween update at least from personal experience.

I did that a few days ago for the second time. I upgraded my SF while Healer was on upgrade. When the Lab was upgraded, the Healer's upgrade proceeded from the point it stopped eariler.
*♥♥♥♥♥♥ me off since I had 6M elixir for an upgrade without the shield*
When I restarted the game, the research was completed.

Bottom line:
Research continues while Lab is upgrading but you have to restart your game once the Lab upgrade finishes to start the next upgrade.

The unit you're upgrading cancels and you don't get a refund. Also, that unit is downgraded a level. If you're upping it to lvl 2, then it goes to level 0, and has 50% of the stats of lvl 1, rounded down. You can only upgrade it again once you upgrade your lab a second time after it finishes upgrading. It will not work if you cancel the lab upgrade. If you are upgrading your lab to level 8, too bad you can never upgrade that unit again.

It's the 1st thing I'm sure, but it was about a year and a half since I was last in that situation so it might have changed since then.

I tried that not too long ago when I started my drag upgrade and then lab. My research did not pause, and finished after my lab upgrade was completed.
