researching while upgrading laboratory?

i searched the net and found two answers:

the game support says "If you are upgrading any of your units, and then decide to upgrade the Laboratory, the unit upgrade will pause while the Laboratory is being upgraded. The troop upgrade will pick up where it left off once the Laboratory upgrade has finished."

while the wikia says: If you decide to upgrade your Laboratory while there's a research going on, it will not halt the research progression and will continue regardless. However the research progress bar will not be visible during the upgrade of the building because It is replaced by the building upgrade's progress bar.

which one is true? other people say that the research will be pause while upgrading, and other say that research will continue even the lab is upgrading..

it pauses

if you're researching something, and you upgrade the lab, it pauses...

at least that's what it used to be

after the winter update, I heard some players claiming that their research didn't pause....

I tried that once and when the lab was done my research was so yeah it can research while upgrading

it always used to be that the research paused, but it seems this has recently changed

My lab just ended upgrading today. When I started it, I had 6 days and 4 hours left on witches lvl 2. When it finished , it showed it had about 5 days and 8 hours.... After I attacked , it came down to 4 hours . So yes, the lab keeps going while its upgrading

Can confirms it continues.

Started 5 day lab upgrade with 7 days left on pekka. Yesterday when it finished there were 2 days left. You might need to close the game or attack for the adjusted time to register but I didnt.
