What I normally do is just create a bad, but believeable base and use it on prep day. Nothing that screams 'troll base'. I just make it look like I don't know what I'm doing. Then I switch to a great base before the war starts. Gotta remember to switch though. You've trolled yourself if you don't switch.
What southern teasers basically are, is to make it look that attacking from the south is easy, but is actually hard. I have a Town Hall 6 Southern Teaser base, and here are the stats:
*70% start from the bottom
*I won 70% of the time
So far, nobody who attacked from the south has even 1 starred me. However, smart people who attack from the sides usually beat me.
You could probably find some town hall 7 southern teasers from youtube. Just search up "town hall 7 southern teaser".
Also, you can try another troll base
I found this to not be as effective as a southern teaser but this is how it works.
You make a hole in your compartment next to your town hall. Enemies will be able to spawn in their troops. But, since it is only a one tile space to spawn your troops in, they don't have much control on where they go. This makes them very vulnerable to splash damage such as your mortar and wizard tower. But also the majority of your point-damage towers (archer towers, cannons, hidden Teslas) will be able to target them too. Your opponents troops will eventually die off.

Just create an awful base but place buildings such as defenses wisely where you'll be able to defend against drags, batch, and giants.
A troll base is a base that looks very easy but is not so bad but it will always be still worse than good normal base vs. a skilled attacker. Troll bases are for fun so see bad players fail.
On the other hand I dont think you can build a good th7 troll base because every th8/9 will smash you even with some trolling.
At th9 you can start putting xbows and some storages (including dark) in the center with 7 layers of walls in the back and all def standing in the front. I fell for this once when I was a new th9 setting all giants into a double giant bomb in front of 2 lvl7 wizard towers neutralising heal spell.
