Angry Why are inactive bases blocked from getting attacked?

So I got on my alternative account after not touching it for a while. I was surprised to see that my TH7 full maxed collectors weren't touched for the last 35 days. However, as soon as I attacked, it took no longer than 5 minutes until my base was cleaned up by an attacker.

So my question is why does Supercell destroy the economy in the game. Why does it work to make it harder to get loot? It's not like there will be an inflation if people can loot off inactive bases. Is it for selfish reasons of wanting to sell loot for real money? Supercell makes a lot of money, and if looting was easier, maybe not as many people would quit playing.

    Just my thought.

    What is yours?

Inactive bases are not removed from matching, just moved down, very down. The idea is to allow active bases to attack active bases. It is what it is. SC will continue to tweak matchmaking as the deem necessary. I think a lot more thought goes into the decisions than most people understand. Just my opinion though.

There would be inflation........There's so many thousands of inactive bases......if there was no queue it'd be more common to find an inactive base than an active one (if not, it'd be very close), and that'd make it far too easy to progress in the game.

That! At low levels (below th8) you already found mostly inactives

My thoughts are that you should have use the search function... This topic has been done to death.

As has been said above the idea of the game is to attack active players - not barch inactive collectors.

Inactive players arent blocked ... They are moved to the back of the queue. They are important for the economy - I agree there. And it is always nice to come across an inactive.

I personally saw plenty of inactives in the gold leagues. Unfortunately most of these come with low leveled collectors and is not profitable to collect them. Added to that many of the higher TH's will have their collectors barched sometimes leaving them without a shield - their collectors become empty.

I also suspect that many of the inactive basis are low TH levels. If these were left in people could be nexting for eternity in some leagues to get to any base with loot.

That's not the meaning of inflation. Prices would stay the same despite the amount of resources in the economy. So no inflation.

And let's say you all are correct and "inactive bases are moved down". My inactive is in Silver league. So... how come.... nobody in 35 days had attacked it.... and then after I got on it again - as soon as I was shieldless I was miraculously attacked even though I'm "way down" or whatever you call it.

Thank you for your time and your concern, but nobody there explained what I saw and neither did you.

the moment you log in you move to the front of the matchmaking that's why you got attacked for the first time in 35days. The reason for moving for moving inactives is for the good of the game. if didn't move them everyone would have high level walls, lack skill to match their base strength, not move up to higher leagues, max their bases quickly and other troops won't be used except barch

Gotcha! But 35 days? It's safe to call it a block as nobody ever sees my base. And I wouldn't mind only using barch and all the other stuff you mentioned. For a challenge you have the war system or you may just attack bases that aren't inactive if you're bored of your individual, fast-paced growth. On the other hand, Supercell sells resources for money, so what's the difference? Supercell's pocket is the only difference. Only the rich can have infinite loot.

I understood the question was in the title "WHY ARE INACTIVE BASES BLOCKED FROM GETTING ATTACKED?"

Supercell hasn't stated the technicalities of the system and they are unlikely to either. your base was probably attacked until the loot it offered meant it was not viable for people to attack or they were coming across other bases with more loot and ignored yours. You didn't log in and you fell down the system of prioritization.

Not being attacked doesn't mean that you weren't offered as a target, only that nobody thought that your base was attractive enough to attack.

As for the rest of your post you were speculating that SC was blocking inactives to make more money. The forum is filled with farmers and many peeps here farm their bases without spending money. I hate to say this but, whilst I do agree that any level of TH can have a bad loot day - I find it hard that a TH7 would need to spend actual money on this game - and if so not a lot of it. The only consistent thing that seems to be purchased with money at TH7 is the the Barb king.
