WHY barbs and dragons?

My thoughts on this maybe Supercell is experimenting with speeding up the speed of the barracks boosted. They chose Barbs because they have one of the shortest training times, and Dragons because they have one of the longest (I know there are longer times, but for testing purposes not many TH 8's use Golems or have access to anything else with longer training times). This is a trial run for a limited time to see what it would do. It would be nice to see boosted barracks go from 4x to 5x permanently. Just a thought..........

Barch is ruined

Yup without another boost Barch is built in 4min break between ACTUAL fights. Thats one barracks barbs three archers. If you have half a brain youll figure out you dont need every troop every fight and youll have a regular barch army in a few fights. If you boosted one more barracks you'd have instant barch. If you decided to say screw it and run all barbs you can figure out you cant attack fast enough and you can raid still make a good profit. Who actually cares about trophies?

Could SC be considering having faster training times as a benefit for th 11, instead of introducing another troop level? Probably not, just a thought

why not make it barbs & archers?! Something useful! this is the dumbest event ever.

We all know supercell have its own way but this one doesn't make sense at all..No one want faster barbs n drags....There are many better choices...VeryAngry n Disappointed..😤😤

Correction. No one wants faster complaint threads about the same thing over-and-over.

If you don't want to cook dragons and barbs, don't. What's the downside? Do you always get very angry about things you don't care about?

Why dragons? I have never gotten 3 starred 3 times in a day by mass dragon attacks before. Dragon Raids suck because they are so strong. Strong > Weak. Weak people lose. Lose trophies = lose loot. Lose loot = Crying. Therefore, dragon events make weak people cry.

Dragons cost a lot though. Max level you're looking around 504k for a full army of 12.

It's for TH8s to farm DE off TH9s and weak TH10s quickly, not for TH9/10s.

8 dragons, 40 barbs, a boosted spell factory making rage spells. Then the cost drops down to about 260-270k (not 500k), and you can raid every 15 minutes.

This is awesome!I boosted my lab and did 5 dragon raids.Got 2.3mil gold 2.5mil elixir and 12800 de WOHOOO

I highly doubt you found on average 500k/500k/2.5k bases for your 5 raids, but yes the dragons are great for DE farming as a TH7/8.

Dragons may be on a boost to suck up elixer?
But mainly to allow th7,8 get a chance at DE.... that tells me one thing, get ready for:
Higher BK lvl at th7,8
AQ at th8
New dark troops
