I also don't understand why barbarians and drags. Drags are useless without spells, so you'll get your drags quickly but still will have to wait for your spells.
barbarians are nice for barching, but anyway, while barching, I still have to next for so long that my troops are trained already when coming back, so having my barbarians ready 5x quicker doesn't change anything.
What would really be nice is a 5x event on spells and loons ;-)

To be fair to the OP, the reduction of waiting time for Barbs is utterly pointless.
For those who use barchers, now we have more barbarians than archers, which is annoying and we have to waste more time to figure out how many barbarians exactly we need to train.
Dragons aren't cheaper. I don't see the point of using them.
