As many of my fellow barchers know... building a barch (barbarians and archers) army isn't the same as building any other army in the game. When I build my army I fill up one barracks all the way with barbarians. I then fill up the other 3 barracks with archers. With the differences in build times this creates roughly a 1:2 ratio of barbarians to archers. This new event only boosted my barbarians. I now have to plan out exactly how many barbarians I want instead of just letting it be controlled by the build times and number of barracks I assign to each troop. This is frustrating to say the least, and it in no way reduces the amount of time it takes me to attack.

I understand this is only a "short time only" event, but please understand that your users don't always use your software the way you intended. Barchers use ratios to build troops, not hard numbers.

Call to action: Please take into account my experience with this event. My request would be to either change the event to include archers as well, or FOR NEXT TIME remember to always boost both archers and barbarians together. With out both the event ends up hurting people who use a barch army instead of helping them.

Just use this opportunity to drop farming, and go for the trophy push with dragons. Practice building anti-Air bases. Now stop crying about it.

agree. Didn't see what the maintenance was for and had 2 barracks queued with barbs, came back and had 150 barbs lol

I have no issues doing the math... it is just that this supposed "benefit" requires me to log on and micro manage troop queues as basic as barch. I am a maxed TH9, and dragons are worthless so those pretty much have no impact. The only impact was an annoyance factor that boosts the fastest building troop in the game by 5x?

There is literally no need for this "benefit". The wizard promotion they recently ran was well received and quite frankly awesome.

As for the accusations of whining... the OP asked our opinions. I gave him one from the perspective of a group that he assumed would be in favor of this temporary boost.

Like several of you mentioned... at least its only temporary and we can get back to normally clashing here before too long.
