I'm a barcher and i HATE this update. You have to pay way more attention to troop ratios because barbs cook WAY too fast. You either have to be online to do exact math on troop quantities or you have to spend more gems to boost other barracks for archers...
Sneaky supercell... this update is a big time backhanded compliment.

Yeah it is somewhat. And I did question, why only barbarians and dragons? and not archers.

I am boosting 4 barracks plus 2 dark barracks doing giants archers goblins wall breakers and valkyries.
The valkyries are alternated between 4 and 6 because my other troops need 20 minutes (unboosted).With 4 valks I have 8 barbs too and my army trains faster than a barch army would normally and you want to tell me you cant handle 2 differnt troops?
Simply make your troop ratio (for example 100 barbs 120 archers) and distribute them evenly to all 4 barracks.
Supercell just wants you to use the awesome army barb/dragon combo and drop the archers. Should work great
