xbow glitch

Maybe I am just lucky but I have never had this glitch occur during one of my raids, attacking or defending.

I have seen video of it happening so I know it is a real glitch, but it seems to be somewhat rare since it has never impacted me personally.

To those who have been affected, how often are you seeing this? Is it every raid or once in a while? (just curious)

pretty much every base in champions league that shows xbows set to ground shoot at air troops

I'm farming in low Champ, I'd say I see it on 1/4 raids or so. I've gotten pretty good at guessing which ground x-bows are actually ground (you see the same base layouts a lot), but people have gotten pretty good at using the bug to their advantage and pretending that they aren't, so I do get unpleasant surprises every now and then.

Next update, as said numerous times by SC staff, should be soon, within a week or two

this glitch has been around for well over a month. I remember when there was a gem glitch and they fixed that instantly, it just shows you there priorities.

we needed cheap barbarians? no we needed xbows fixed! this is third patch since they acknowledged the bug...

Its not game-breaking like a gem glitch which also had to be rolled back, making the culprits victims who would actually prefer it get sorted out quickly.
Also we have been told that it requires the game to be updated and we would need to download it again, meaning it would have to be passed through apple and google as well, with god knows whatever other technicalities. A lot of work just to solve a non-game-breaking glitch slightly earlier.

sure it may be a lot of work but I don't think that's any excuse not to fix it.
