What Should i Upgrade next

Hi, i am a fairly new to town hall 9 i have all my mortars maxed at the moment i was wondering what defense would be best to max out next.Thank you

Here is the order that I prioritized at TH9 for defenses:

#1 Wiz Towers
#2 XBOWS (get them out of the way)
#3 Teslas
#4 AT
#5 Mortar/AD 1:1
#6 Cannons

#2-#6 are debatable I'm sure, but WT is the most important for sure. 1 shotting archers is good. pew pew!

Wizard towers yo. Probably should have done them before mortars tbh.

I always did splash def first. Wizards starting, then on mortars... then down the line from there.

You should have done xbows first, not mortars.
So do them, maybe get them to three, then upgrade your wizard towers.
That's my plan at least.

Getting xbows as a new TH9 is important.
Upgrading them are not. Xbows are very overrated and definitely not advised before maxing splash defenses.

Splash defenses will keep you from being farmed, and help you out in war more than xbows will.

If you war often enough, I would also make sure all your ADs are at least 6, and maybe even consider going to 7 before working on your xbow upgrades if you struggle against dragon attacks.
