Why would you expect the push to be riveting on the second day? We are all saving up resources for the push, it is a strategy. You rise slowly to conserve resources. If you run out of them, you are basically done, we still have 10 days left, that is more than enough time to skyrocket in trophies.

true story - i started a trophy push at 1400 @ TH8 with 3.7 mil elixir and tier 1 troops. the push was for 2 weeks. i got up to 2281 before getting somewhat low for what i needed to do. I was using giant/infantry mix and had 400k but i reached the point to where i needed to switch to tier 3 troops. i got impatient as i was searching 15-20 min for bases to try to find one that i could take with the current setup and had no luck. So i eventually ran out of gold as well as i used all gold to search for bases. i raided a little bit but i was putting it into my lvl 8 walls. so i kinda screwed myself.

Hmmm, what point did you start using tier three troops?

Im not sure how I will fare this time, but my farming army hit a wall at 2600 last time I went on a cup hunt.

It'll be interesting to see if the bases have improved and that wall is at a lower cup count, or if that wall has been set higher up due to trophy inflation.

I use barbs, archers, giants, and wallbreakers for as far as they take me. 2500 and higher is the usual. I have an abnormal amount of resources saved up (8 Million Gold, 8 Million Elixir) so I may start playing with pekkas on the last few days.

Also, what clan are you in? I couldn't find you in Crazy 88's

I guess will will be first to reach Crystal, it's because he already has the resources needed and his clan is in a tight match against top members of all of Phil Dream Team's brother clans formed to make the Phil Elite Team. Both clans are with over 20k trophies right now, and Phil Dream Team ranks 309. Clan competition ends Sunday. I don't think will's level 5 troops can beat Dan's but he has some elix to burn and may try playing with other combos, for now it's barb-arch-giants-wb. Will will be sleeping now and queue in some tier 3 troops to revenge when he wakes up as I expect him to lose on defense due to four ATs being down atm.

That was before the addition of 4th wiz tower and tesla lv7 i assume ??? Im sure its going to be much tougher for tier1 troops dan... Oh yeah and the extra 25 walls also
