    Members,

Please review the first draft of our rules which I've placed in the very first entry of our thread.

    Response to Draft Clan Rules

    1. Donations
Members must donate 6x exp lvl. Where requirement isn't met, must donate at least as much as they receive. Well... Some parts of this sound redundant to you? Just state the minimum requirement.

Drop the idea of fairness and stick to pragmatic reasoning. Would you like level 1,2 troops in your castle?
At this stage of development, the landscape of our clan is too diverse with regards to players' levels. An idealistic way to push forward would be to accept only members above a certain level. I.e. level 40 and up. This is one of the clan requirements i am about to talk about in my next point.

For now, I personally would rather not have low level players making donations. Then again how else would we gauge their loyalty? Only time will tell.

    2. Clan requirements
Members should be level 40 and up.

Trophies? Not important. I've spoken about this. All whose bases are less than a completely maxed out TH10 should be full-time farmers. That means our entire clan. I've no idea what yo girls lover is doing at 1600. 1 out of 2 of his builder's snoozing in his hut. No developmental works going on. Low on resources.

No member should have an overly rushed town hall. Do not accept these as new members.

Friends of members who want to join who do not meet these requirements should be referred to clan leader/co-leader for consideration. Ideally, or professionally, feelings are put aside in the pursuit of greatness.

    3. Donation requests
Simply state your request before and after clicking the request button. Whoever donates reads the convo immediately above and/or below the request and donate accordingly. No special requests means anything goes.

No need for default troops donated. Except for no wallbreakers/goblins/HEALERS unless upon request.

    4. LOYALTY
Enter and stay unless for really special reasons. The elders aren't doormen letting you in after you've gone out.

    Above all, clan = FAMILY

    5. Character
Quiet members who are overall unfriendly in chat are not welcome. Members who aren't active on this forum display a lack of care for the future of the clan.

    6. Balanced clan rules
My suggestions are idealistic. However they are practical given our core group is strong and we can hold our own with no problems whatsoever. So grav/chris its up to you to balance the scales between idealism and friendly, fun gameplay. I'm personally unaffected no matter what level our members are. Basically I donate to people who also donate and have loyalty.

Rules look good to me. I think friends of loyal clan members should be allowed to join no matter what the trophy lvl. As long as they play well and participate in the clan.

    Elders

In order to avoid confusion and eradicate hopes of achieving the elder status, I suggest all that is deemed "old guard" be the only elders in the clan. Save a few of the more loyal "new" elders. The rest of the less active elders should be demoted to member. Thus, there shall not be a separation of old and new elders.

Honestly, the title of elder doesn't mean very much. The clan benefits every member as much as it benefits elders. Acquiring the status of elder has not much practical use and the notion of wanting it for the sake of the title is childish. If you're a not an attention seeking teen in search of social acceptance, it shouldn't bother you one bit.

My suggestions are all very idealistic and are not meant to be accepted without moderation.

I think the rules are obtainable. No problem with getting the donations. This is David.
