Question for TH8's/9's

when do you start protecting your mini storages instead of putting them in corners or treating them like collectors? (by mini storages I mean the new ones you get at TH8/9)

when I got to TH8 I started protecting them when they were at level 8

for reference:
level 1 holds 1,500
2 holds 3,000
3, 6,000
4, 12,000
5, 25,000
6, 50,000
7, 100,000
8, 250,000
9, 500,000
10, 1,000,000
11, 2,000,000

Inmediately. And I upgraded them right away to lv10. More HP in base is always good. And having loot spread out over more storages makes it harder to get all of it.

Question is kind of subjective.

Do you mean place them behind walls? If so, then immediately.

If you mean in the core of the base? If so, then never.

None of my storages are fully protected (ie, in the center of my base) apart from my DE storage of course.

Immediately, despite their small capacity until lvl 10
edit: started upgrading them right away. They weren't really top priority though.

Immediately as well, probably just because I was too lazy to make two bases (one for before the storage was 'worth' protecting and one for after).

And no, I didn't upgrade it immediately either.
