I think a Clan Gold/Elixir (the total of clan) Grab would be a really good feature. Particularly for farming clans that want to show off their clans achievements.
Some other ideas are average donations of clan members. I think these will help promote and really boost clan moral.
It's a nice idea but I think there might be a problem with it. I believe no number in Clash of Clans can be above two billion (because Supercell uses a 32 bit integer - don't ask me to explain it). If someone in the clan has a maxed GG, the total GG would be at its limit too, so the clan's real GG would be unknown.
Your idea would be cool for beginners but for hardcore farmers in a clan of 50 members it just would not work (if I'm correct, of course).
