Getting attacked while shield is up

On many occasions, mainly over the past week I've had my town hall destroyed and a 15 hour shield present. Thinking I have the time to rebuild and collect, I'm still constantly getting attacked. Is this normal?

No it is not. You probably broke you shield by opening the attack search without attacking anyone, without realizing it. However if it is not the case, get some screenshots of it happening and post em.

Also not sure about the shield length

If they get the th or 40% you should get a 12h shield
If they get >90% you should get a 16h shield. No 15h shields that I know of.

I would agree you probably broke the shield without knowing it.

Maybe you tried to revenge? That also breaks shields.
