Are there limitations to Clan Castle reinforcement deployment on defense?

I was only attacked once, so no, no one expended my troops beforehand. Also, when I signed on this morning, my CC was still full. Here's how the whole thing went down: Finished my last attack for the night last night and requested defensive reinforcements. My clan is pretty good about this, so in the 5-10 minutes of tinkering around before signing off, I saw I had recieved all my reinforcements. I went to bed. Some time in the middle of the night, I was attacked, and he did enough damage to give me a shield. I saw the report, sighed, and went to re-request reinforcements and couldn't because my CC was still full.

This is actually the second time this has happened to me so far. Here's a vid of the attack. Sorry for the potato quality, and sorry for the poor base design. I'm pretty new at this, having only played for a couple weeks.

Ok, a couple possibilites: first, you as a th 6 are one of the first people to experience a strange bug that nobody else has heard about: possible, but unlikely. Second, you either logged in and requested troops after being attacked or some time during the night and forgot about it, or logged in, hit the request button without thinking, then got distracted and went to request again when you found the full cc: still unlikely, but less so than the previous option.

Finally, you may have checked in chat rather than in your cc before you logged off to make sure your cc was full. If you did that and either you or the people donating to you had a bad connection, the cc troops might not have arrived to your base until after the attack: this, I think, is most likely.

I have the thing you mentioned, many times... it sucks, I know. But yeah, it's most likely my internet connection. I probably could do something 'bout it - just too lazy, lol.

However, the troops that never arrived into my CC, they are there at some other time though... e.g. when I placed my CC in a raid, the "lost" troops will be in there afterwards anyway. Kinda' wierd.

The video doesn't prove a bug, just shows that during the defensive raid, you didn't have troops but currently have them.

You attacked, used the CC troops and forgot that you did, requested troops but didn't receive them until after the attack on your village.
