Are there limitations to Clan Castle reinforcement deployment on defense?

I recently joined my friend's clan, and they are all quite a big higher level than me. That said, the troops they reinforce me with are several levels higher than my own. While I can use them on attacks without issue, I've been attacked several times and my CC never deployed the reinforcements contained.

Is there something that doesn't allow me to use super-powered troops on reinforcements while I'm still lower level? I'm TH6 and getting reinforced with LV6 Barchers, but they refuse to deploy on defense.

I think you just've putted your CC way to far for attacking troops get inside it's action radius. I don't think there is any limitation on troops for deployment. Just troop capacity. Try getting your CC in the exact middle of the map, so when ppl attack you you can take advantage of it's radius.

Nope. My CC is dead center of my base and covers all of my buildings (TH6). I've been leveled twice, including destroying the CC, itself, and the troops don't come out.

I can only think of two explanations. Either, as said above, the attacking troops didn't go inside the CCs trigger radius, or you were donated ground only attack troops (eg barbs) and were attacked by flying troops.

Nope, again. Attacked with Barbs, Archers, Giants, and Wall Breakers. So, I'm hearing there's no limitations, then? I guess I need to submit a ticket.

No there aren't any limitations other than the ground/air one I said above or if the CC is destroyed before the troops deployed. That's highly unlikely now though (used to be a problem with the Santa Strike spell a couple of years ago). Sounds like a bug but I've never heard of it before.

Nope no limitations, if there was troops inside your cc radius that your cc could attack they should deploy and I've never seen them not deploy. Are you sure it wasn't a second attack or anything and your cc troops had already been killed?

One thing I have seen is troops get lost on the way from one base to another it says you received troops but they never actually show up.

I was only attacked once, so no, no one expended my troops beforehand. Also, when I signed on this morning, my CC was still full. Here's how the whole thing went down: Finished my last attack for the night last night and requested defensive reinforcements. My clan is pretty good about this, so in the 5-10 minutes of tinkering around before signing off, I saw I had recieved all my reinforcements. I went to bed. Some time in the middle of the night, I was attacked, and he did enough damage to give me a shield. I saw the report, sighed, and went to re-request reinforcements and couldn't because my CC was still full.

This is actually the second time this has happened to me so far. Here's a vid of the attack. Sorry for the potato quality, and sorry for the poor base design. I'm pretty new at this, having only played for a couple weeks.

so you show a replay of an defense and the actual cc troops.

at the time of the attack you probably didn't had troops in the castle, and after that defense you received troops.
