It feels likes forever.

I am going to th9...
I have 12 collectors in all
5 of them i have upgraded to level 12
so then i have 7 left.
i've upgraded 4 collectors to level 12 which will take 5 days, then i have also upgraded my town hall which will take 10 days.

once the 4 collectors are done i will have 3 left.
And i will still have 5 days left of the town hall.
then i am doing my last 3 collectors right after the other 4 are done.

then i will have 5 days left of my town hall and 5 days left of the collectors
so once i reach th9 i will be a fully maxed out th8 exept for the laboratory.


Now it seems so hard to wait for th9, because i've been at th8 for around 4 months.
i feel like it's forever to finish..
it still has 9 days and 16 hours left.

i keep go on my account and look "is it finished now?!?!?" even thought it's not..
i'm just so exited for this..

Anyways:
Once i reach town hall 9 and i have 5 builders free and 80k De and 6M gold and elixir.
First thing i plan to do is to, upgrade my lab and my spell factory.
Thats 2 builders..
Then i'll do my queen buy her first and then upgrade her to level 2
that's 3 builders
And then i'll probably do some traps.
then i'll get my extra wizard tower and extra air defence.
after that i think i will get another cannon or another archer tower, i don't know, but one of them if i get it!
Then i will do all of my 4 army camps to level 7.
And at last i will get my xbows (which i will upgrade non-stop to level 3)

Please tell me if i should do anything different here..

I would start with the shortest time upgrades first, that way they will finish in a relatively short time, you'll have the gold/elixir/de ready for the next upgrade. This way the builders are constantly upgrading.
Now if you don't play allot, then it would make sense to do your main defenses like mortars, wiz towers, etc.

Good luck and don't forget that the lab uses 2 of the 3 resources so you can rotate them!

Yeah, tell me about it. . . I'm always playing too and the waiting can make me go a little insane. Especially when storages are full and there's more than a day until I can spend it. I have Golems going to level 2 right now in my lab and I keep checking on it and planning what I want to do next. (DE storage was going to fill up otherwise + big Gowipe fan, so I did Golems)

I'll be upgrading to TH9 soon also, but I do not have the patience to finish all my collectors first. I think it might be nice at TH9 to have the option to upgrade a collector to keep builders busy, seeing as upgrades will start to be so very expensive.

My TH9 Plan:

Drop down AQ of course. Will start upgrading AQ after I get giants up + 220 troop capacity. Will need her badly until that point I would imagine. Probably will start with DE research in lab, so I can put elixir into getting army camps up. Giants ASAP after that.

Builder 1 Xbow, then ?
Builder 2 Xbow, then ?
Builder 3 Lab, then army camp
Builder 4 Spell Factory, then army camp
Builder 5 Add new buildings & get up to level

MAKE YOUR DARK ELIXIR PUMPS A PRIORITY. They kick out serious DE at TH9,

here's my other suggestions

1.) Clan Castle
2.) Spell Factory
3.) getting your AQ up and to lvl 5 ASAP

4)Upgrade your offense 1st. Army Camps can be upgraded to 55 each. Dark Barracks open up Witches. You can raid better which will pay for the other upgrades easier

5.) DE Pumps

6.) lay down those new walls cheap and easy early on. Once you get most of your offense PE upgrades done (outside of lab) you will free up PE for walls lvl 9 or above. SO you raid for gold upgrades then use excess PE for walls. Once a builder comes available use excess PE on walls before putting builder back to work, rinse and repeat. I find I get walls done easily this way. In fact had myTH8 skull walls done way before i had the rest of my defense upgraded and my builders were busy 24/7.

By using that excess PE on walls while using gold on defense upgrades you balance out your storage's and can keep yourself from becoming to big of a raid target by having excess PE just sitting there.

Congrats, I too am playing the waiting game. down to 5 days-5 hrs. I know it stinks waiting, but look forward to better troops and a stronger base.

I feel your pain. looks like you have a good plan in place for when the up is done. I feel I will do very close to what you are saying. at least this is what I feel will help the best starting TH9.

My problem is how to deal with finding a strong farming base. just had TH8 figured out pretty good, only took 4 months to do so.
