You don't understand. If elixir can be used to make P.E.K.K.A.s who can split buildings in half with two hits, it is definitely unstable. If you are hit with ANYTHING during a battle and survive, you will still anyway explode due to instability. You haven't ever seen surviving troops explode at the end of a battle? Even if a cannon ball, arrow, magical blast, fire, or bullet doesn't hit you, as long as you attack something, particles will probably scatter everywhere hitting you. Anyway also due to its instability, it will make you explode anyway in 3 minutes within being deployed ANYWHERE.

That's all it would be if you got your surviving troops back. It would be FAR too lucrative to level lowbies to justify any other form of attacking.

    Think about it...

TH10 mass dragoning in gold. No TH7 will be able to kill more than 1 or 2 max dragons, meaning the TH10 is able to wreak almost infinite havoc. The loot would build up as well, and mass dragons would become the easiest farming strategy for TH10.

    I get it

I do totally understand your complaint, but as many before me have said, it would completely unbalance the entire Clash of Clans league system and make Town Hall 9 and 10 extremely overpowered. Town Hall 10's would just stick around in Gold, and use their maxed out troops of any kind to completely level Town Hall 7's and weak Town Hall 8's. Since the troops they used would be given back to them, they would often not spend much, if any, elixir on training troops. The amount of loot they would be stealing would be irrelevant since they wouldn't have to spend any elixir to train troops or wait any length of time. The game was designed the way it was for valid reasons (the latter being one of them) and unfortunately, in this case, you will never be able to retain your expended troops in Clash of Clans.
