whether it is under consideration or not - it is still ruled out ie you shouldn't post another thread about it because it is either being considered or it has been dismissed!
First off, again, the top of that stickie is not stuff under consideration.
Under consideration implies an action being taken, the act of considering. The very first line in that thread clearly states that those are just user submitted ideas to consider and does NOT imply that Supercell is actively considering or working on them. They are just suggestions captured and itemized that haven't been ruled out yet.
My argument against such ideas as this is the same as Dahimis. Features in boom beach should not be brought to clash. If you look at boom beach, it's almost as if they took a bunch if ruled out ideas from clash and started a new game. Until Boom beach can be top grossing app like clash, i doubt any cross over features will happen.
Boom beach is no where near as fun as clash.

I'm a vet too but wouldn't use it for a game. But think for a second if a TH10 like myself (see relevant) were to want to farm TH8's for loot I would just make a crazy strong army and constantly destroy people what stops me? The fact my troops don't come back. Case closed.
A better analogy would be "Were you born ready to fight in 25 seconds? Were you built out of pink liquid? No? That's why you cam back home."
People make the assumption that boom beach stuff can work really well in clash.
no.
Clash was designed in a way that many of the features in Boom wouldn't work. That's why they added such features in Boom (IMO). If this was in clash without adequate complete rewriting and balancing of the game, everyone would get dragons or some strong troop and demolish low-level players to get the little loot, but without having to retrain anything.
Dont bring logic in Clash. logic is cold.
Logic is cold ............... Embrace it.

Signature-BB-code-limit, you forced me to unleash colour theory.
1) make dragon army
2) drop to around 500 trophies
3) level TH4-6's with zero dead dragons
4) make about 30,000
5) repeat every 2 minutes
Yea. That sounds like a great game. Troops coming home works in Boom because the overall game design supports it. In CoC it would be a complete disaster . . . because the overall game design does not support it. This is not the real world and it was not designed to duplicate it.
The idea here is that if you use 10 dragons you could 3 star a base and loose say 6 dragons. But if you only use 6 dragons you will probably be lucky to get 1 star. You need to be smart about how much of your army you use. Go all in and maybe wasteful or hold back and potentially loose . . . or maybe somewhere in between. That is why it is the way it is. If you want your troops back go try Boom Beach. It is designed to support what you want. It would ruin CoC.

You cna also use high tier troops like mass dragons, use healing and rage spells, overkill a base, and have them return. Thats just OP
Feel free to friend me!
I don't know, speaking as a fellow veteran I have trouble using real war situations to a video game. One of the big differences is that in real war you cannot scope up and down the strength of the enemy like you can in COC by pushing down trophy levels. Plus you are comparing recouping human resuorces to the cost of sending them. When veterans return the cost of sending them does not get returned with them.
So I would push down trophy levels until I could release a drag or two that cleaned up the entire base with no concern of getting killed. Then I get them back. Move on to another base, repeat. These low level bases would not give me that much per attack but since I get my cost back each time who cares? I can just hit as many as I want.
