This isn't about supporting your clan mates. I assume most of the folks who dislike the idea have never been in a req n leave clan. If you could select the level of troop you are donating, then you would be able to give MORE troops for req n leave. Maybe some of you don't realize but the req n leave part of CoC is very prominent in the game and has become another facet of it for folks who do not stay with one clan. Of course for my own clan I would give top level troops, but you have an OPTION. So the folks who dislike the idea, dislike the idea of having more options. That reminds me of people saying having multiple base layouts was a bad idea and things like, "well you have to choose to farm or trophy push or do a hybrid base. If you can't you just aren't good or smart enough." I bet the people who said those things are using the multiple base layout function.Originally Posted by rwelshjr
Yes, I put forth the notion to complicate things because the intricacies of the game make it fun. When clan wars came out folks were initially excited but many realized that many of their members, although excellent donors, were terrible fighters. Clan wars created a rift or complicated the structure of the clan itself and made war stars a priority in some clans and in others they still pride donations and do not war very often. I predict having the ability to choose levels of troops would further stratify or create tiers amongst the req n leave type clans and only the "good" req n leave clans will survive.
