Why should you RUSH your TOWN HALL?

Would you RUSH your Town Hall or MAX each Town Hall First?

I was in the minority and voted that it is better to RUSH YOUR TOWN HALL! Hear me out about this before 'rushing' into disagree with me!

Totally maxing out each Town Hall before upgrading to the next Town Hall level is actually the longest way to totally max your base! Archer Tower level 10 will take 5 days to upgrade whether you are Town Hall 8 or Town Hall 10. So regardless of which strategy you decide to adopt, all your buildings and troops will take the exact same amount of time to upgrade.

So why is it better to upgrade to Town Hall 10 sooner?

Including both camps and clan castle a Town Hall 8 player can only house 225 level 5 troops. Which is why most Town Hall 8 Players Farm either Silver, Gold, or lower Crystal leagues. Level 5 troops, level 6 camps, and level 4 Clan Castle will only carry you so far in the game which limits how much you can earn per raid in league bonuses!

A Town Hall 10 player can house 275 level 7 troops. With this kind of heavy fire power you can easily farm Master III or Master II, which pays 100k & 120K loot bonuses per raid.

If you decide to max your Town Hall 8 then max your Town Hall 9 the next year, in all likelihood you will be stuck farming in Gold Leagues. If you do, you will miss out on an entire years’ worth of 100-120k bonuses. You will miss out on TENS OF MILLIONS if not HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS in League Bonuses alone! :eek:

Those towers and canons and walls will cost the same, and will take the same amount of time to upgrade whether you are Town Hall 8 or Town Hall 10. Your base is going to get SMASHED no matter what this next year until you get a stronger Town Hall 9 or Town Hall 10 base either way.

Ask yourself which bonuses would you rather have this next year? Gold League Bonuses or Master League Bonuses?More loot means that you can pay for upgrades faster and keep those builders busy.

A side note, is that there is A LOT MORE DARK ELIXIR in Master Leagues, which means that you can upgrade your Heroes and upgrade your Dark Troops faster if you farm higher. Staying down in Gold Leagues, actually dwarfs your Heroes growth!

Loot penalty? I can get easy peasy loot as a TH8 vs a 9, as a TH9 vs a 10.

I had no issue keeping all 5 builders and the lab going full out at every level including TH9 - I doubt it will be true at TH10.

It has its perks and it's negatives, I rushed my TH straight of when I started playing, I don't feel I had it that much harder than anyone else in my clan. I don't really understand the big taboo about it, If a player wants tk max out their TH to get IT's then do it, global is full of noobs that put other noobs down because their AT isnt maxed for th7, fed up with reading rusher everywhere, and threads like this don't help.

Rushing to th10 is fine if loot was not so much harder at th10. Depending on the league bonus is not worth the rush when one can score easy loot from th8 as a th9.

When you have a Town Hall 10 with 275 level 7 troops in your arsenal and farm Master III or Master II you are farming a Town Hall 10 league, and there is NO loot penalty for farming other Town Hall 10 players. Many assume, as you have here that as a Town Hall 10 player you need to continue farming in Town Hall 8 leagues, which simply isn't true at all. As you get stronger troops and larger camps, you can start to easily play with the Big Boys and farm Master III or Master II just as easily as you are farming gold leagues now! So simply put loot penalties is a non issue!

As a premmie TH10: You will have to either build a very strong army that costs a lot of elixir and takes a long time to train or build a barch army and next a lot to find an inactive TH9 or 10 or barch for solely the league bonus. As a TH7, 8 or 9 you can smash up a 1 TH lower base with barch and minimal nexting for 200k of each plus.

On top of that as a rushed TH10 you will get wiped by all the non-rushed TH10s and strong TH9s for large chunks of your money.

That's why you're wrong. Yes the upgrades take the same amount of time but it is much easier to raid for the money for each stage of them at the appropriate TH (and easier to hold on to the money too) and therefore quicker in the long run.
