I think that's quite vital information that be missing from the OP.
Although it seems the Elixir was somewhat wasted. The 2 screen-shots are somewhat misleading together, as they do indeed only show 75k difference, not 200k, and you must have also spent a fair w♥♥♥♥ of DE on stuff inbetween the shots.

Its not everyday you see a near-maxed th8 getting 3 star haha..
especially with a farming army..

even for my base.. nobody gets more than 3 gold/de at max, let alone 3 star.

Then again, OP didn't show us the final screen shot of the loot and troops/spell use, so maybe he used 4 healing spells ? haha. Never had an attack on my base with 4 healing spells before..

i start thinking a TH 9 with full army set can get all 3 storages of a TH8's base, no matter how well they design their base.
my advice: TH 8 dont mess with a TH9 farming base, lol

Firstly nice revenge, BUT
They tell us level doesn't matter and has no bearing on the game (hence why it was removed in global), just like to point out that your are level 98 OP and the revenge victim was level 81. I would expect the level 98 TH8 to defeat a level 81 TH9 in most cases because you would have significantly more battles under your belt. The grave mistake was to lightning your DE in the first place, one of those battles where you should just hit the next if you don't plan to go all out.

The middle screenshot was taken after the bottom screenshot. Meaning that he had spent around 75k elixir after the raid. This, however, tells us nothing about how much elixir OP had before the raid.

Although some elixir probably was wasted throughout the raid since the elixir bar was maxed after the raid was over.

You can tell that the middle screenshot was after the raid because of the tombstones.
