I did not read through the entire thread before posting this so pardon me if this has been said already.

Firstly you present no argument. You state that minions suck with our saying why they do. Next important point: how are you using them? If you spam all your archers in one spot one mortar shot will shut them down. Same with minions and air bombs. How many are you using? 5-10 works well for me, using them to pick off building only protected by mortar/cannon. You should use them as backup/just in case troop and because they cost DE try not to use them in every battle. Lastly, if you don't like them, dont use them. NO REASON TO MAKE A THREAD

Why would I bring 10 minions and "hope" that there will be a couple buildings i can pick off for free. No. What a waste of 20 army camp space... You obviously don't know how to efficiently use troops. Come back when you L2P

I agree that it could be a waist of camp space... Or they could get you about 200k because you cleared ADs and ATs before hand. There is no need to personally attack me or my playing skills. You have not responded to the last part of my post. Why did you make a thread? Did you honestly think SC would remove a troop that many ppl have gemed/farmed to max level because of your PERSONAL OPINION? And are you lesmog's alt?

Minions are a cheap and effective air unit. The first of its kind. If you don't want to have a diversified army then don't use them. Each and every troop has its weakness. It's important to know these weaknesses and learn how to effectivly use your army.

I agree that it could be a waist of camp space... Or they could get you about 200k because you cleared ADs and ATs before hand. There is no need to personally attack me or my playing skills. You have not responded to the last part of my post. Why did you make a thread? I personally find them useful. I take about 5 when I farm and they always help me get that extra loot.

Archers don't fly. Again, minions are the cheapest fasted to produce air unit.

If you are mad that I made the thread, that's your problem. You didn't have to respond.

Minions will get destroyed seconds after you deploy them because things target them. Archers can stay safely behind barbs or giants while minions draw fire. Especially from air defense.

how many do i use? Well I've tried using lots like 40 but that is way to much. They are alright at spamming but I doesn't give you much army left to steal the loot. When I try 10-20, its isn't enough to do any real damage and it ends up just wasting my army space.
