I realy like the minion,always got 2 star on high level players...its good.But only for player who know how to use it.

I have had great success with minions at a high trophy count. They are great distractions when u roll with a dragon attack. When I was at 2000 cups, I attacked with 4 drags,30 minions, archers and 3 lightning spells. Never lost with that combo. Of course i skipped the bases with xbows pointed in the air.
Even if on the ignore list. I had too look at this and yep, I found this amusing !

the first time i used minions, they were great. theyre only weakness are wizard towers and air bombs. i learned to spread out my minions so that one lousy air bomb doesnt kill 10 in one hit. you have to use them well. i like them, but im not wasting dark elixir on dark troops at the moment, im saving all of it for my barbarian king upgrades.

I did not read through the entire thread before posting this so pardon me if this has been said already.
Firstly you present no argument. You state that minions suck with our saying why they do. Next important point: how are you using them? If you spam all your archers in one spot one mortar shot will shut them down. Same with minions and air bombs. How many are you using? 5-10 works well for me, using them to pick off building only protected by mortar/cannon. You should use them as backup/just in case troop and because they cost DE try not to use them in every battle. Lastly, if you don't like them, dont use them. NO REASON TO MAKE A THREAD
