If you are a TH8 with level 6 AD and level 9 AT, you should almost never get 3 stared by another TH8 dragon attack. I use a version of "Sucker Punch". I rarely get 2 stared much less 3 stared by dragons. The last time I was 3 stared by a dragon attack was by a TH9 with 220 spaces, 10 dragons and the rest balloons including his CC plus a level 11 AQ.

I really wished that clan wars can only be unlocked at TH8 and above...

TH9 even, TH9's and TH10's in one group, and the others in another

Call it Pro league for TH9's and 10's and the Minors for the lower TH's

dragons only work at th8 and below but at th9&10 they are never used unless you are looking to waste elixir for a hard fought one star

Not entirely true. Newer TH 9s can be 3 starred easily enough. I agree though, most of the time the base is the problem.


I do remember that point when dragons stopped working. It really made me angry but now I'm having a lot more fun running gowipe, gowiwi, loons, etc.

Also, all those suggestions in your signature would make this game 100% more enjoyable. My clan is dealing with all those issues. Some want a break, others want to war, kicking and finding out who wants what is not what I want to do as a leader. Also, we tried having a war clan you must join to war but then chat is less fun, you lose donations, people forget to join,etc. Finally, my heroes are far behind, not because I don't have dark coming out of my ears but because we war twice a week. Please please fix this stuff sc.

The forums need to be nerfed. Supercell should make us link our game accounts to our forum accounts for accountability. Dragons are about perfect though. My second account is a TH8 midway, he had to give up dragons for gowipe this week as his target had level6 a.d.

Supercell, you know how you made giant bombs do 1.5x damage to hogs? Well, I was thinking that maybe air bombs, and seeking air mines should do the same to dragons. Also maybe the (air) skeleton traps' favorite target be dragons. Just an idea but I think something needs to be done. Mass dragons is the only thing people want to do in wars and it's getting boring. This doesn't effect me too much because I'm a town hall 9 lvl 98 at 2650 trophies (for proof search U.S.A Bros 2.1 and find Danny) I'm mostly referring to my Clanmates because no matter what layout you have even with max air defenses, a town hall 8 can't do anything against lvl 3 dragons with 3-4 max rage spells. Also a th10 against 12 lvl 4 dragons and 5 max rage spells can be easily 2 starred as well.

Your clanmates must be good attackers then. You don't simply spam dragons as a TH8, you must clean up some buildings to make sure they get into the core and destroy ALL air defenses. Dragons are very dumb, they'll run like crazy to kill the BK and any CC troop, even if they are in the core destroying the TH or that god damn last air defense.
