War Clan Castle Donations (Preparation Day) Change Ideas
When it comes to donating, you'll find clans fight one idea or another; either people donate utter ♥♥♥♥, or people never donate enough. As the leader of a 40+ member clan, this has been a constant issue for me, but the worst part is on the preparation day of war.
Just to give you a little more information on my clan, we war "Always," and as leader (with my co leaders help) we fill our clan with great troops before every war, just to ensure a little better defense.
The issue/suggestion I've come here for is a little more control over who can donate to WAR Clan Castles on preparation day. Perhaps make it where if someone donated to a CC in War, the leader could also choose to remove troops from that castle, and maybe tell the leader who donated what. I understand that last piece would be unnecessary if leaders could take out troops from a War CC, but the control gives leaders a little bit more insight to what's happening in their clan.
In addition, or perhaps as an alternative, it would also be nice if the leader could alter who had access to donate to war CCs (i.e. Make an Option: only Elders, Co-Leaders & Leader can donate to war cc, or Everyone Can Donate to War CC).
I understand these ideas are hard to implement, good or not, but if you have any struggles deciding how to format this to fit in with everything I would love to discuss some ideas I had via email. Thank you for your time in reading this, and I look forward to any changes you might make.
Oh this would be super easy for Supercell to implement! "Member" could stay the lowest tier clan position, which cannot donate troops during preparation day you know. Then a new rank of "Senior Member" or something right above "Member" could donate. From a programming perspective, this is cake. What I would be concerned about is doing this may upset the player base. Even if someone is donating bad troops, it can still make them feel good about helping the war effort. To take that away from them could be catastrophic.

this has been a problem for us as we get low level members donating to war cc's before our leaders can give all the good troops. Great idea, I hope they make it happen!
well that is a problem remained. supercell tried to stop it by "not counting donations anywhere" and by ability to remove it.
in a very good clan people can remove those stupid troops from castles. the problem is that high level donators take sweep when donating. like i make 50 wiz or few dragons and try to donate it in single go. i cannot wait whole day bcaz i have to do regular attacks.
so when i see someone's castle space filled or half filled by giant or barbs,, i skip that castle. so when he remove those i either hav to make the troops again or i just skip it.
so yes i think donator name should b shown. bcaz some people are really very thick.
PS: when my leader acts like a moron, i keep filling its war castle with gobs. never get caught... hehehehe
