Exclamation Idea for the Dragons *NOT NERFING THEM*

Everyone is complaining that the dragons are overpowered, no skill is needed to use them, and to hard to defend against. Yes, at lower levels THIS IS TRUE! But I haven't had much problem with them at my level (half maxed th9). So I came up with an idea. After watching many videos on Boom Beach and playing it, I thought about how they made the Grenadiers not so overpowered, and that was by making them do damage to each other. So you could incorporate that into the dragons. I haven't fully decided if they should just to damage to other flying units if they are bunched together (within 2 tiles of one another) or if they should do damage to all troops (comment which one you think it should do). Why should they do this? Well it would add more of a "strategy" to using all dragon attacks, it wouldn't necessarily 'nerf' them, it would incorporate their 'splash' damage more. I think this is a good idea that everyone can be happy about. Because just like with Grenadiers killing each other, you find a way to use them effectively and they are still really good! Please tell me what you think, and don't just put this is stupid, etc. Tell me why you do/don't like it!!

I think this is a step in the wrong direction. What if the drags are attacking the same target. Will they kill themselves?

They don't do 100% damage to the friendly troops. And kinda what this is intending is most people just wham all the dragons in once place, this would make it more of a strategy so you wouldn't have to face that problem. See what I am trying to get here?

    Thumbs up

There's nothing wrong with dragons as is. Sorry but part of being TH7 is getting smashed. We all were there. It happens.

The 'spash' damage is so small, that if all of them bunched around a building on one side, or even all the way around, they wouldn't damage each other since there is a bit of a ranged element to thier attack. So unless they were behind one another to burn the other's draconic ♥♥♥, that wouldn't factor in much at all. Would actually cause many bug reports from how uncommon and illogical it was.

Now... if you were willing to incress the AoE of that (Area of Effect) to say, several tiles, enough for 2 buildings, (3 if aimed right), then you would have something worth worrying about

Cool A good idea, but tricky.

This is possible... However, dragons would need to have faster attack rate, higher health, and faster move speed by 4.

However, a slower attack rate seems like a more ideal solution in my opinion. High damage and slow hits can be wasteful of potential DPS.

Though, this would make them too much like flying pekkas in my opinion.

So, to even out the game to make it not-so-much-of-a-nerf, they could have a much faster attack rate (which makes sense, they'd be like flamethrowers trying to breathe really fast xD) and slightly lower damage.

That way they get a nerf without being nerfed, but their not being nerfed is conditional.

Or, on the other hand, there is leaving them as they are while giving splash air mines a dragon damage bonus.

    All some ideas to consider.

Personally the only problem I have with drags is that they look like they're going for the town hall, and then just stray off to the bloody barracks like some lost dog.

I like the way mass drag operates!

Lightning the AD, drop all the drags... And sit back and enjoy the ride...
