Should I upgrade all walls before I go to TH9?

So, as a TH8 I am close to completion of all buildings. I have 2 tesla’s, 4 archers towers, 3 elixircollectors and some traps left to upgrade. Now I am wondering what I should do. I have two options:

1. stay th8 a bit longer and max my walls
2. go to th9.

As for research, I’ve got pretty much all DE researches left + the 6kk pekka research.

I’ve made a poll with two options. If you don’t advise one of the two options, then please comment and don’t vote.

It's simply a personal choice. I did maxed my walls since it looks cool

its much easier to do them at th8, if you dont you will have 3 levels of walls to do at th9. unless you are planning on being one of those ugly rushed th10s with lvl 7 and 8 walls then upgrade them

It really depends how much elixir you are willing to waste. If you are happy farming 100 million elixir you will never be able to use, then do the walls. Otherwise move up to 9 where you can use that spare elixir and farm the poor TH8s that spend their whole time with elixir bins full.

I was in the same position and now have 1 day left before my TH is level 9.

It really depends how much elixir you are willing to waste. If you are happy farming 100 million elixir you will never be able to use, then do the walls. Otherwise move up to 9 where you can use that spare elixir and farm the poor TH8s that spend their whole time with elixir bins full.

make sure those defenses are maxed before going to TH9. as for walls, try to get half done or so. I farmed as many as I could before the boredom of farming just walls and wasting elixir made me go to TH9. My upgrade to TH9 will be done in 4 days. I have all defenses/traps maxed and only 40 skulls left to farm. I'm not sure I'll have them done when i get to TH9, but i'll be pretty close.

PS - all lab upgrades are done except for goblin, healer, valk

Max skulls, it's not that hard at all.

Purple walls are like butter and u look like a noob with them.

The rule is, as long as you have somewhere to put your resource (gold and elix), you should stick to the TH level you are. Overflow is not desirable and villagers idle either except one for walls upgrade.

A pic of your base would have been helpful.

You have 6M elixir you can put in your pekka upgrade.
It seems you have plenty of room to put your gold in.
How is your king?

If your walls are at least level 7. And your pekka upgrade is started. Then you will be able to start your TH upgrade.

I had already been sat on full elixir bins for 3 weeks so decided I needed somewhere to spend it.

I can give you an update on if the farming is any different at 9 in a few days. (Although I only fight TH8s and above anyway so can't see it being any worse).

Not on the 6kk mark yet for the pekka.
Indeed enough room for gold (176 lvl 7 walls left)
King = maxed (10)

All walls are already lvl 7.
