Anyone else got the 4th Wiz tower to L7 yet without gemming it??

Got mine a day or two ago

Nice, I think I had to wait overnight for a bulder so missed quite a few hours to begin with but apart from that, I was on perfectly sync'd upgrades...took a bit longer than it should on paper due to the whole 1 day actually turning out to be 1 day and 45 mins when upgrading things!! Grrr, stupid bug...

Id be interested in your thoughts on my base Junliang! You would usually skip....am I a "skipper" or am I a "try your lucker"?

I'm still working on air so a raged dragon attack could get you 2 of my gold storgares and a star (or 2 if you take my free TH) but it will cost you more than you spend ... But am I weak in other areas?

Hm.. I'm a big fan of symmetry, and your base is slightly off, especially the resource storage positioning.

And I'm just a th8 with lv5 troops, so I can't comment much on th9 raids.

But attacking from bottom right, your DE storage + 2 gold storage is pretty close.
Not to mention mortar coverage for bottom right is pretty weak as they are bias top left.

And there are too many improper t junction for my liking.

But yeah, with high level defense like lv3 xbow, lv7 wiz/mtr, it should do fine at 1500 trophy range.

I will review my splash coverage - I actually forgot to reposition the mortars after I got the 4th Wiz (before this wiz, the top point of my base was the weakest. One of the downsides of barely getting attacked - makes you dull!! Nice heads up!!

Off centre junctions help limit wb damage - so im told. I've not had someone be successful with them against me but now they have splash, a cross junction can lead to 4 opened compartments from just 2 wbs. I try to limit that where I can.

I often move my storages around for one reason or another. You probably need to 3 star me to get them all...I think...I was unable to do perfect symetry due to lack of walls so I sacrificed this in order to maintain the principles I was looking for in terms of segmentation.

Of course it will do fine at 1500 I was looking for thoughts on how it does against stronger players who know what they are doing. I have been much higher but only dragons have success (all be it limited - due to poor strategy, not my defence!!). I'm not sure if the new update will change that although it will be a while before there are lots of L4 dragons about (and probably even longer before I get L8 ADs)
