Again, great idea but I think my constructive criticism is warranted. I think its a great idea that they should consider, but I think they'd only consider it if it brought in a subscription revenue.

You're spectacular presentation has some us, the user, extremely well. Now you need to remember to sell Supercell on the idea too. I think showing an acceptance to a notion of a subscription fee could wet their appetite.

I think that both of our arguments have merit to them and that Supercell should make the final decision in this.

iWatch doesn't exist. That's a common name misconception. Apple makes the Apple Watch. And the circle one is the Moto 360 that runs on AndroidWear.

Just read all 4 pages of comments and wanted to chime in on the back and forth between the OP and Axion.

Personally, my views align very closely with Axion here. The mock ups are phenomenal and if implemented, this would be an awesome addition for clashers and yet another reason to justify my inevitable expensive Apple Watch purchase in a few months from now. Well done OP.

From a business perspective, there isn't enough here to sway SC into developing this. The return on investment just isn't there, unless there were something like a small subscription fee as proposed, but even then, I'm not sure they will make enough money back. If I had to make an educated guess, the percentage of clashers who will own Apple and Android smart watches in a few months will most likely be in the 5-8% range. A pretty small chunk. Then of those 5-8%, how many of them would be willing to pay 5 bucks a month for these alerts/updates? Say one out of every 4 of them. You're down to 1-2% of clashers worldwide.

The development, testing, and maintenance of this app (on both platforms) is going to cost a lot more than you think, OP. I realize a lot can be reused from existing code, but not everything is so plug-and-play. Especially considering some of the new unique alerts you're aiming to implement, as well as the functionality to request CC troops? You're no longer simply displaying/reading data, you're now writing to the database, which is a lot more involved than reading from it.
