Bring back lower level elixir wall upgrades!

What are your stats in game? I can't help but wonder if perhaps this "gold>elixir" applies to more casual players. Donations and war drink up my elixir like it was fine wine. I've raided 50 million more of the pink stuff.

What at do you mean by stats? Trophies vary, level 99, donate 1500+ troops a week, hit my 100 mil in each res long ago.

We we are a small clan so wars are not often and I don't gem anymore.

What is up with the poll, did a mod make the numbers wacky?

I think the poll sums up how the forums feel, even with the...ahem...compromises.

I feel they should get rid of the elixir/wall altogether, because th10s will get really complainy soon.

There are too many lazy people ♥♥♥♥♥ing about the wall update. I did all my level 8 walls with gold easily, and you guys can too. Even level ten walls were easy. And if you guys think that elixir for walls is really making things easier for us th9s and up, you're completely wrong. Elixir is way harder to come by, out of the 250 level ten walls I might have done 30 with elixir. Which sure that cuts things down a little but not nearly as substantial as you guys think. I could honestly go back to just gold for all walls just because elixir for walls is such a small amount anyways. Plus, walls are defenses which should always be gold in my opinion

If a mod did that they deserve a promotion, that is gold. And true.

It isn't going back. If anything it will go the other way and lv 9 walls will get locked out too.

Mke more spells, make more troops, upgrade troops/spells, upgrade buildings that uses elixir, be generous and give out troops

I think that they should bring back the elixer walls. There is almost nothing to upgrade with elixer in proportion to gold. I found myself upgrading troops I dont even use just because theres no point in having a stockpile of elixer. If they were to bring back elixer walls I would actually use the elixer instead of having in pile up. Im sure people will be angry since they spent so much time upgrading their walls with just gold. I know quite a bit of people who simply stopped playing because it was so time consuming to upgrade walls past level six or seven. Im sure more people will play if upgrading walls was even a little easier than right now.

There are many things to use elixir for,

1. Upgrading troops
2. Building armies to raid for gold and DE ( this is actually the point of the game, build armies and raid)
3. Build troops to donated to clan members
4. Did I mention upgrade your troops?

If this isn't enough, move up to the next TH level., lots of new things to use elixir for

I know it seems impossible at the start, but every TH-9 and TH-10 with maxed out walls managed to do it with out elixir for walls. When you get through the TH-8 walls and are ready to move up to th9 or TH-10 you will be glad you maxed out your troops along the way.
