Definately stay at th8 for as long as you can , id max out walls personally, thats what i did. The loot at th8 IS WAY WAY better then th9. I just hit th9 and ill say from experience, The loot is pretty atrocious.

Youre farming in the wrong place, I have seen no difference in loot since going to th9 a bit over 2 months ago

not to sound rude, but please enlighten me on what trophy range i should be in. And yes its bad. I went from farming 200k each almost consistely from 50k each...... and ive been to crystal 2/3 and now im hovering around 1700-1800 and its still really bad >.<. so please enlighten me. Ive been at this for a week now and nothing has changed. just being honest dude. id be happy to post a lil vid and show you my 30 min nexts..... its quite ♥♥♥♥♥♥ed.

1300-1450 for inactives and TH8 storage raids, this is if you want to farm gold/elixir. Crystal leagues if you want to focus on DE. Keep in mind you will typically sacrifice one for the other though. Master 2/3 when you have your TH9 farming offense maxed if you want to be able to farm DE at an insane rate and also be able to farm gold/elixir, but keep in mind you'll be making more gold/elixir down in low gold leagues. Crystal is a desert for gold/elixir, Gold 1 I never had a problem finding bases, but they aren't total jokes like most are down in Gold 3. (For Gold 1, get the badge then farm from 1500-1600 when you have lvl 6 farming troops. Or just continue to beat up on children down at 1300-1450, either are fine for gold/elixir.)

Th9 was just as good as th8 for me. I'm now th10, and I'm still doing the same exact process as th8/9.

Go to th9, upgrade the army camps, upgrade the troops. Then you'll be farming just as good as you were at th8. Then start upgrading your defensive structures.

Basic concepts go along with the upgraded th level. You'll get 10% less loot against th8 bases, but you'll probably get more loot than you could before because of the more powerful troops.

That's how it was for me. I'd hover around 1400-1700.

I'm at th10 with lvl7 walls, and I'm doing just fine. In the past three days I've lost 8700 gold, 42,000 elixir and 5500 de. I've accumulated over 9mil gold, 6mil elixir and 50,000 de. I'm ok with that ratio for sure.

yes that 200k from his base which it seems people don't want to take seeing how quickly a snipe happens and that he can get back in 1-2 raids if needed, plus the OP said he still had pekka to do which is 6 mil so he won't be sat on full storages for long anyway as it would be dumped into the lab

Okay, so I am contemplating going to TH9 by like February, maybe. The thing is, is that I have 120/225 skulls and my king is 9. All defenses are maxed and most troops, but pekka to three and minions to 4. So should I stay and max my walls and king or move on soon?

Move to th9, you may have a little bit better loot at th8... But you will constantly be wasting elixir. Th9 is not that bad, and you can still attack th8 and some th7 for pretty good loot. Also, at th9... You can upgrade those skull walls with excess elixir once all your elixir upgrades are done. Therefore it is more beneficial for you to go to th9.

Move on to Th 9. Its pointless to sit with full storages and sleeping builders. Walls are great, but in war when you either get Dragon attacked, Hog attacked, or Gowipe attacked by a th9... it wont matter. What will matter is the amount of new defenses you get. Unless you just want a congrats on maxing a th8... like most people. I find plenty of great loot at th9. Gold and Crystal range. 200k+ sometimes 300k+ no issues. I barch only.

Best of luck, and don't head to TH10. The jump from TH9 to TH10 is really where the gold/elixir farming dropoff occurs, for the specific case of what I'm "pet peeved about," which is the broken elixir for walls system. TH9 is your golden TH to do almost every wall at (obviously not possible for lvl 11s). Refrain from moving up until you are absolutely satisfied with your wall progress (and have your defenses maxed.)

Oh he still has his Pekka to do. Nvm then OP, stay at TH8 wasting millions of elixir so that you can do one single 6M lab upgrade for a troop that you constantly use in farming. Also I forgot that TH9s can't breach storages of TH8s with basic BArch/BAM troops, so you've probably been getting sniped 100% of the time as a TH8 and not instead as a TH9.
