TH8 to TH9

Okay, so I am contemplating going to TH9 by like February, maybe. The thing is, is that I have 120/225 skulls and my king is 9. All defenses are maxed and most troops, but pekka to three and minions to 4. So should I stay and max my walls and king or move on soon?

why?
well because you will get better loot at th8 than you will at th9.. you'll just regret it. And that way you can get to finish the last troops too!

i'm level 86 almost max th8 all i need is troops and resources.

Definately stay at th8 for as long as you can , id max out walls personally, thats what i did. The loot at th8 IS WAY WAY better then th9. I just hit th9 and ill say from experience, The loot is pretty atrocious.

You are nearly done, in the time to do those lab upgrades you should be able to finish walls and get the king done so may as well wait it out

Youre farming in the wrong place, I have seen no difference in loot since going to th9 a bit over 2 months ago

not to sound rude, but please enlighten me on what trophy range i should be in. And yes its bad. I went from farming 200k each almost consistely from 50k each...... and ive been to crystal 2/3 and now im hovering around 1700-1800 and its still really bad >.<. so please enlighten me. Ive been at this for a week now and nothing has changed. just being honest dude. id be happy to post a lil vid and show you my 30 min nexts..... its quite ♥♥♥♥♥♥ed.

It varies all the time, a few weeks ago gold 1 was amazing, last week gold 2 was great, I haven't been on much the last few days but im currently going back to crystal 3 then dropping to stay between 1900-2000 it isn't always fantastic, but I usually find a minimum 180/180 raid within a few mins of nexting.

Interesting because im not having any luck at 1700-1800 after finding 2000-2200 was horrendous..... Im just a little peeved about how bad loot is after th8, call it spoiled but the diffference is INSANE. It seems i may just gem most of my upgrades. seeing that 28k-89k isnt going to cut it and really just is a waste of time. Im gonna climb back to 2000 from 1771 and see if its better. If not im gonna cut my trophies down to 1300 and start from there again. Im already regretting going to th9 even though i could of down more research....

Jeeeesus Christ, stop listening to all the terrible advice given regarding walls. Are your elixir storages overflowing? If so, head to TH9 ASAP. The gold/elixir looting dropoff is about 15% less per hour maxiumum, and every million elixir you let go to waste at TH8, either b/c you are raiding with overflowing storages, or losing 270-300k from attacks, is a lego wall piece you missed out on.

Here's a rule of thumb: if anyone every tries to give you a checkpoint for what level walls or the % amount of a certain wall before heading to TH9, they don't have a clue of what they're talking about.

EDIT: And that very slight dropoff in gold/elixir farming is also nothing compared to how much faster you'll be able to farm/generate DE, people have also failed to mention that. But seriously, if you let your elixir go to waste while using just gold to do your walls, you will make significantly slower progress on them than if you head to TH9 where you can exploit the broken elixir for walls system up there. That minor dropoff in farming is nothing compared to raiding both main resources but only having one of them count towards anything.
