Sorry for jumping in too late, but

If you were to use that attacking strategy as above, why not attack in from top right ?

After breaching the 2nd layer, you have access to 1 gold storage + DE storage.
If you were to attack from top left, you will have access to 1 gold storage only.

Although both are in the same compartment, wouldn't attacking from top right be the "shortest" path to the gold + DE ?

I don't see much difference from the number of defense from left and right, apart for the meaty TH at the right side, which you are trying to avoid to prevent 40% and avoid shielding him, but that would mean taking a longer path to reach that DE.

But yeah, thats one of the strategy that would work on this base.

Ok everyone I have an idea for a new mini game, and I will explain the rules and see if we can get this thing rolling.

I will start by posting a picture of my base, then somebody else will come and explain how they would attack my base, starting point, number deployed, what troops etc. Troops that cannot be used: Dragons,Peekas,Golems (because of the rarity of their use and how easy you can win with them, subject to change if enough want to). After somebody posts how they would attack my base then somebody from the list at the bottom of this post will have to "confirm the attack" to make sure it is legit and that the person would in theory win(winning means you get 2/2,2/3,3/4 gold storages depending on the number of storages). the attack. Then after it is confirmed the person who attacked and "won" would post a picture of their base or somebody else's base, and then somebody else would attack and so forth and so on.

The rules can be expounded or changed if enough wish it to be.

The following people are mini mods in this mini game() and can confirm attacks or attack themselves but cannot confirm their own attacks. More can be added if this isn't enough.

since you are updating one of your air defense. so I will first put 20+ archers to kill your king. then put 20 giants on the left and put 2-3 WB at the same time aiming at your air defense first. when the AD is gone, I will send an angle healing those giants.if there are troops coming out your Clan Castle. I think I can use the light spell to deal with them. of course if it's a dragon, I don't think i can win the battle.(because even if i drop more archers, they will be too far from the dragon and shall all be killed before they reach it). However, if there is no troops at all. I'd like to use 3 lighting spell to destroy your air defense on the right. meantime I will send 10 more minions from the right bottom because there is no archer tower or wizard tower and the only hidden telsa is under updating. my rest troops will be goblins of course.

I did cast a vote about that. Best i can do is spray archers or get a half decent soak-wizard group with accuracy top right.

. I would put two lightning on the two mortars then 10 archers on town hall then deploy archers on the army camps and once they are destroyed take out the archer towers and cannons on the top then after that I would put wall breakers to get past the walls and then deploy giants by the last mortar and once its destroyed unload archers every were.

Troops used.

Giants = 10
Archers = 150
Wall breakers = 5
Ligntning spell = 4
