Need help! Just got th9, any advice?

Congrats! I'm just about finished with TH9 buildings - few labs, some small stuff to upgrade, walls, heros left. It's possible to survive


1. if barching gold1/2 move up to get DE when needed, but I'd hang in the 1700-1900 range until your defenses are much higher.
2. BARCH BABY. seriously. 2 barracks barbs, 2 barracks archer. go for collectors, if both heros are up go for stores. If you want more power add 12 giants but the army cost goes way up.
3. You'll need to let go of the dragons and embrace Gowipe or Gowiwipe. Golum2 pekka3 is good, Gol3 Witch 2 better. 2 Stars is your new happy place. 3 might happen, once troops get better.
4. get xbows to 3 get de drills max get de store max get all new def to TH8 level then upgrade splash tessla ranged and finally useless cannons and bombs
6 assume BK is 10 already. Get AQ to 10. Then AQ 15 then BK 15 then tears as you get them both maxed...
7. See #4 and #1 - 2 maxed DE drills gets you just under 5K/day. You should be grinding out 3-10k day just as a side effect of normal barching, go higher if pushing for a large DE lab or hero upgrade. It's a grind.
8. You will have good loot days and bad loot days. Just grind through it

Hey everyone. Today I just hit th9, and I need LOTS of help. A list of what I already have/building/upgrading:

• Archer Queen (she's awesome)
• Both my x-bows
• Lab
• Spell Factory
• Dark Barracks (witches!!! )
• Gold Storage (lol, so tiny. Only hold 1,000 gold)
• Elixer Storage (seriously, were upgrades this cheap?)
• Giant Bomb
• Seeking Air Mines (x2)

So, what should I do? I have a lot of questions. Here's a list (lots of lists this thread lol)

1. Best trophy range for farming?
2. Best farming army comp?
3. Best war army comp?
4. What should I upgrade next? (After the new buildings I have yet to build of course)
5. What troop should I reasearch first?
6. Prioritize queen or king?
7. Where can I find the DE for their upgrades?
8. anything else I can benifit from?

1/2. Barch 1300-1450 until you have lvl 6 farming troops. Then you can Barch 1500-1600, or GiBarch w/ Wallers higher.
4. Get those army camps to 220 space. Offense first. Offense always first.
5. If you plan on doing Loonion raids up in Masters, Balloons to 6. Otherwise giants to 6, followed by archers and then barbs.
6. Queen. Mine aren't incredibly high leveled (15/15), but I've found through reading threads that the best method to getting those heroes upgraded is to focus on the Queen first, and then when she's high enough, you can use her to easily farm DE to get the BK up there.

8. Splash defenses before xbow upgrades. Saw someone point out to get xbows to 3 before doing other defenses. Absolutely not, xbows are not as great as they are made out to be. Get both built as they become a raiding deterrent simply by visibly being there, but get your wiz towers and mortars maxed before working on your xbows/ADs (if you plan on clan warring).

Don't try to rush to TH10. TH9 is the golden TH to do walls b/c of the current broken elixir for walls system. The gold/elixir farming dropoff is minimal from TH8 to TH9, but is staggering from TH9 to TH10. And the ability to farm DE only increases slightly from TH9 to TH10, unlike the huge bump from TH8 to TH9.

I'm a nearly maxed TH8 just working on finishing my walls so I'll be in the OPs position fairly soon. I was already planning on doing most of what was said here but it's good to have my ideas confirmed by those who have already been TH9.

You're wasting your time at TH8 doing walls. Head to TH9 where that valuable elixir isn't going to waste and you'll make faster progression on those walls, and follow the helpful advice of people here to get your TH9 offense up and running early on.

I would farm in gold league with whatever you used at TH8 and get your barbs and archers upgraded asap. In war drags are still viable for an early TH9 as well as GoWiPe considering the people you will be attacking will probably have weak walls so there is still a potential 3 star with this army. Prioritize your queen.
