Are you sure? I am pretty sure most do it for the fame so they look big. I guess some would do this but they would probs get smashed straight away tbh if they tried so their loot would be gone

Except that changing the badge would have no effect on forum posts. The OP is claiming that the badge is what brings them fame, which is only visible in-game.

It was pretty cool when they displayed the level instead of the league you're in next to your name. If this came back, levels would probably feel more important to players. This could potentially cause a high percentage in donations to go up. Not that I ever miss a donation request. lol Cheers!

I have no idea when level stopped displaying as I started playing with league shown.
But it is annoying in global (I go there sometimes) they go you're in silver one you must suck.
Level may show that league means nothing. (It doesn't mean squat, I farm, push, and relax. I go back and forth, I could be in crystal one day and silver the next.) I'd stay in hold for relaxation.

I sniped my way up on all my accounts at around TH5ish, but only for the gems. I could care less about any perceived 'fame'.

Actually I bet they love them. Lower players in higher leagues ----> less loot, farmers who actualyl have loot get sniped----> less loot. Less loot-----> more gems across the board.
