Way for people to op out of war with out leaving clan

This should already be done. SC say that does the right or liberty of a member, so they need to implement it urgently.

Perhaps it could have a notification (sent by leaders) warning something like "War starts in X days/hours" and members mark an option if he does not want to participate

After the last maintenance breaak i need to scan apprx 250 times to find a half decent raid, at 1000 coin per raid .... come on guys what is going on here ???????
To crown this after going about 50% into raid lost connetivity with server ...... THIS IS NOT HAVING FUN GUYS ????

I think the button that the person can hit any time even during current war if they have an upcoming need for a break. Then the leader need not even need to ask, the answer is right there.

From that point its the leaders job to administrate however he see fit. If there s some guy that just never does it (leaves the button off always) that is the leaders job to decide how he feels.

I think this function is the most important. I asked that before and I keep asking for it.

The proposal I made was to allow each clan to decide for themselves how they run. Even those totally against the principal can still have it their way.

here are some situation and how they play out using the proposal I made

• "War clans should only be for war. if not doing war then should not be here" Leader can just have a no opting out rule.
• "My family is going on vacation and no wifi there. And we have to leave now before the current war is over" Person hits opt out button after second attack (hopefully). Nothing is different until next war. Hits it again when they come back.
• "I want to opt out all my lower guys so we sill be stronger than other clans that do not do that" - This wont work. If you opt out all but higher guys you will be matched up against another army of all higher guys. You cannot use this feature to gain an advantage.
• "I want to start a war and this guy did not do second attack last war and has never communicated what's up" - Leader can hit the button (instead of kick) to just hold him out until that loop gets closed.
• "We always get a much weaker opponent because we all have our kids in the clan with junior accouts" - Can just opt the kids out to get a more interesting matchup. No need to kick the kids which is usually an issue.
• "This guy just joined our clan could be a hopper could be awesome. We don't know" - Opt out, opt back in for a future war after you think he has waited enough to satisfy you.
• "We had a guy leave our clan on prep day and I need to put in an replacement" - No can do. If you opt a guy back in it has no bearing on anything until the start of the war after that one. You are stuck with the guy that took off.
• "I want to opt out all my higher guys, get a weak opponent, then opt them back in and opt out the lower guys we did our matching with" - No can do. The guys you went through matching with are the guys in your war, no exceptions.
