Should I Rush to Town Hall 9? (With Pictures)

Level one x bows aren't that big of a deal so don't rush for that reason alone, it's obviously always a benefit to max at every th but rushing to 8 is not such a problem; to th9 you're gonna get hit as you stand, so saving up for x bow and other upgrades will be tuffer than needs be. Archer queen is a big plus tho, but again needs upgrades.

Honestly, it depends on war. I wouldn't even bother upgrading the walls as long as they keep using wall level in clan matching.

As soon as you start stockpiling elixir and do not have an outlet for it, start your upgrade from TH8 to TH9. It would be beneficial if you had all your splash defenses maxed before heading to TH9, but even that's not necessary.

Don't listen to a single person who tries to tell you what level of walls or what % of walls should be a certain level before moving on. TH9 has now become the golden TH to farm walls at, as TH8s stockpile elixir from not being able to use elixir on walls, and you can dump both resources into walls as a TH9. You don't need 50% skull walls, or 75% purple. Hell, move on if they're all pink, it doesn't matter.The only thing that matters from a progression standpoint is that you do are not wasting elixir, elixir that can be used as a TH9 but cannot as a TH8.

That's when you decide to upgrade.

From expirance don't go to th 9 it makes life so much harder. Just go and max out th 8 then go to th 9

Generally if you have to ask whether you are ready to upgrade, especially if you use "rush" in the title, then the answer is likely to be no..

Hey guys. I've been farming lately and I really want to get xbows. I'm sitting here with 3mil gold at the moment which is enough to upgrade my TH to 9. I was thinking of rushing to TH 9. The extra walls, AD, WT, XB, and AQ would help me catch up with my defenses. I think my defenses are high enough to handle town hall 9... What do y'all think?

Loot is harder to come by at TH9. Don't rush - th9 is much less forgiving than th8.

I would say to completely max everything EXCEPT walls if u dont like doing them. Walls can be done easier in th9 cos of walls to 8 can easily be upgraded to L9 soon after with the amount of lix we now have.

I say go - I rushed to 9 just for the xbows - with a good design and trap placement. My Defense did pretty well. Its more about what league you decide to be in that gives that higher up a chance to hit you. I stayed more or less in Silver 1& Gold 3. Farmed a lot & pretty much got my TH 9 nearly maxed. If it wasnt for all the TH10 looting horror stories I would of rushed to 10 just for infernos which im glad i didnt.
