    Lightbulb Clan Wars top 200 leadboard POINTS system!

    What he suggested was that there be a leaderboard based off of stars won in wars. This led to concern that people would abuse the mechanic, so I came up with an idea of my own.

    Not everyone could attack the lowest bases, only a few could, but I see what you mean. Possibly the ranking could be based off of Stars earned/strength of their base * your base strength. For example, you are the number 1, attacking the number 10 and you get three stars. Let's say it is a 10v10 war.

    3/10 * 1= 0.3 score for the attack.

    Now, if you were the number 10 attacking the number one and got a 3 star you would get more points.

    3/1 * 10= 30 score for the attack.

    This system would reward attacking bases equal or stronger than yours, and punish attacking low. Now, one would say, "Jake that would never work, everyone would just attack the number one to boost their score." However, since they are so much weaker, they would probably only get 1 star if any. A town hall seven can't 3 star the town hall 10 after all (Unless they are horrifyingly premature)! Let's test this just in case.

    1 star/ number 1 player * 5 your strength= 2.5 score.

    3 star/ number 5 player * 5= 3 score.

    3 star/ number 10 player * 5 = 1.5 score

    Highest score would be the factor in determining who is ranked in the leaderboard, and highest clan average score would determine who is ranked on the clan leaderboard.

    Also, this idea means that attacking above you results in score > number of stars, same as you score= number of stars, and below you score< number of stars.

    It looks like I quoted everything under where I said my two line comment, so please put a bigger space there
    The formula would have to be (S*E)/Y
    Where S is the number of stars, E is the enemy defensive strength and Y is your offensive strength. But it would be incredibly complicated and time-consuming for SC to work out the relationship between E and Y, and what number to multiply each by if they are both given as a percentage, etc.
    And this doesn't take enemy layouts into account, which is a major factor of how many stars you get. And you may also get a match where the enemy clan's strength is less spread out than yours, and so even the enemy number 1's base would be an easy three star for the top player.
    Too many variables, which is why it hasn't been implemented.
