Can't find clans.

I was kicked from my clan due to scheduling for a war I couldn't be part of, soft kick should have been re invited after the clan war was started but I didn't get an invite, so I searched the clan and it never showed up so I tried searching another clan in the family and it never showed up, again tried with an older clan I was in nothing except the feeder clan showed up. I know I'm spelling them right still have a clan mail from the one clan. Any ideas?
The clans were:
2 in a Minion

Go - Seach clans - Show (Green Button) - Only clans I can join - Off.

Have you got 'only clans I can join' set to off in the options window and do you have the required trophies?

I didn't even know about that, guess I forgot they close for wars.

There is also the clan sub forum to find a clan too. A member there might be recruiting here.
