HELP- Enemy clan reported our clan members to gain advantage in war

    Hi,
To begin with, we are a very respectable clan, where almost all of us are friends. Also, one of our clan rules is to respect each other and to follow the game rules. There have never been any reports of anyone in our clan or the clan itself. The majority of players are mature adults.

Now the problem started after we started a new war. I smelled something fishy from the beginning when I saw that the enemy clan is a new clan which was started on the 11th jan 2015 and has a clan war win of only 2 wins, versus our 55 wins. Ironically, they have around 40 members where the majority of them members have very high level buildings and troops.

The clan war preparation day started last night, and in about 7-8 hours later 2 of our members got their accounts banned for 2 days. This was pretty shocking to all of us since neither one of them have used the global chat in a long time. Then I realized that they might have been banned because of their war bases.. One of them has drawn out a picture of a woman in boots, it's nothing explicit. We have seen bases that drew genitals and used foul language; and we were aware that doing something similar could possibly result in a ban. So, having that in thought, our clan member had just drawn an outline of a female body. It's nothing explicit and definitely not inappropriate for a 13 year old or older, as per CoC terms of conditions. But for the second member, we don't know what the reason is behind it. She doesn't have any explicit base layout, she has a normal defensive base design. Also, our clan description doesn't contain anything explicit, and I don't think its related to the clan description since only 2 co-leaders got banned so far, not anyone else.

With that being said, the enemy clan looks really fishy, they have changed their clan description several times in the past few hours, it did contain foul language at first, unfortunately we don't have a screen shot of that, but the second change said "have fun immature adults. Every base hit it like it should be MFs". Which I did take a screenshot of. (Can provide it upon request)

The reason I'm posting this is to ask if our assumption is right or not. Do enemy clans pull out such strategies to temporary deactivate players to improve their chances at winning wars. If yes, what can we do about it? If not, then what could be the possible reason behind both bans.

    Thanks in advance. Cheers xx

Ps. Our clan tag is #V2LGY2G.

The only way to get temp banned from clash is if someone reports an incident (usually with a screenshot) to SuperCell and they see if its a bannable offence. Honestly if you are breaking the Terms of Service then if anything technically you are the one with an unfair advantage and they are evening the field by making sure they are only going against rule abiding players. All of this is MY opinion based off experience and speculation.

The only way you would get banned is if there was something offensive in chat or base layout that someone screen captured and sent in to supercell. Don't do that and you don't have to worry about bans

It should list a reason for the ban when they try to load clash. That information can take this from an academic discussion to a relevant one. Any chance you can get that info?
My advice is upgrade all troops if you love war..

Seems to be more of a strategy implemented by more & more Clans of late just to gain & advantage in War. As leader I check every single base during prep 2 make sure its just a design & not a picture or any words spelled out. Far as Clan Wall no other Co is allowed to even change it. Which is basically a description of what type of clan we are & War schedule & requirements to join. Yes its bland but to each its own. Seems to me they're more desperate for a win than they are offended by anything. Which should tell you that by
they constant need to interact using the Clan Wall Message Space.

Supercell support gets far too many requests and I suspect they do not even look at the screenshots but simply ban the user. Maybe the player that was reporting the bases photoshopped them.

I think if Supercell has not got the staff to investigate such cases (which is impossible for a f2p game) they should stop banning at all and let the players handle this themselves. If a clan insults you in their description simply 3 star all of them. If someone uses bad language in global just ignore him and mute him. If somebody behaves bad in your clan kick him out. This is a game for 13+ years. At this age you should be able to solve your conflicts yourself.

At least when it comes to MMORPG's the free-to-play system has been shown to increase revenue over the monthly subscription model so the idea that a F2P game could not possibly have the revenue to pay for the necessary staff is a very presumptive.

Very well said I wish a supercell employee could see this because their reporting system is flawed by human nature. Let us just sort things out on our own.
