why did supercell decide that the ability's of hero's not be triggered when your base is being attacked? after all if the person has hero's that is attacking your base gets to use them,, why does the hero's defending don't?

Because the game is about been active, attacking is active.
Hero abilities on defense would be overpowered, clashers should not get most trophies from not playing.
Coz the hero is quite dumb. Thats why they need us, the chief to control them
Even of we were there. Seem the royal most of the time didnt want to do what we want lol..
