Attacking with Barbarians

I have been playing this game for about 3 weeks now and I find it is just as fun and profitable to attack with just barbarians.

Although I usually use 100 barbs 100 arch or 12 giants, 80 archers, 60 barbarians.

Use cheap troops is very effective for gaining cash and trophies (up to Masters).

I would like to use archers, but the hit points just don't warrant it for me. I can only have 120 housing atm so just pooping out barbs and hitting villages has helped me build up.

I even attack when I have an active shield since I can get more loot that way.

No need to be so negative. It's like people can't have a casual chat without being attacked

Massing barbarians do work well until you face a lot of splashing towers (Mortar/Wizard Tower) since the group will die quickly. That's why people add archers to attack from a safer distance while barbarians act as shields

I prefer 70 barbarians and 170 archers, as it is effective as well as cheap and cheerful

At lower levels, I loved barbs.

I'd just surround a village, and they would cut through the walls, and swarm to the town hall like an army of insane locusts.

Sorry, didn't mean to sound offensive, i just thought it was a newbie posting something random to get post count. Anyways, i usually use 120 archers and 80 barbs
