I predict most th9 farmers will benefit from attack premature th10s, just as th8 benifits from early th9s.
If you are a th9 trophy hunting, then attacking a maxxed th10 will suck. But that's a given. Attacking a th higher than you will always suck. And why are you trophy hunting anyway?

If you want to trophy hunt, you have to gem. Unless you think Supercell is going to instill some sort of spending cap, you need to accept that you will never advance in the leaderboard so long as there are people spending more than you.

Mendax is correct, there will forever be a gap between the top gemmers and the non/moderate gemmer. When you realize this, the updates will only become a personal challenge, not a game changer.
Kind of contradictory in your post here, first you laugh at TH9's at 1400 cups farming TH7 and 8's. Then you complain that there are mostly TH9's to farm at 1900 cups.
Your "bottom line" comment eludes to you being an ego player. Stats mean far more to you than the entertainment value of the game. TH10 threatens your stats so you don't like it. In my opinion, TH10 will also place you in the low level loser catagory you mentioned. How will you be able to attack or defend against a TH10, oh my. This leads me back to your contradictory comments. Bottom line: you want to raid easy players yet maintain your ego driven stats.

The ONLY negative as I see it is that it extends the timeline for someone to max out their base - BUT that is actually NOT a bad thing! Thanks SC for giving us new content...
Now, I do think TH10 might struggle for resources unless they alter the game mechanics given the difficulty of cracking a strong TH9 base / the penalty for attacking a TH8 base...Early adopters must face a period of pain due to the limited "New TH" population and fighting all other THs offers loot at a reduced rate...
So, unless you upgrade to TH10 and then find it hard to cope, I'm not sure what the issue is. No one is going to force you to upgrade and if you are maxed, then upgrading is EXACTLY what you want to do...am I missing the point??
