No, I'm not. I went to TH9 when TH8 was maxed... And I do okay between 2100-2300 trophs/level 97. However, lets not kid ourselves... TH7 and TH8 were a walk in the park as far as resources go. I'm maxed on all my offenses on TH9 and its still not easy. This update appears to be a wet kiss from Supercell to the uber Gem crowd, to let them wail away on A typical TH 9 base.
It's better for th 9's now even if premature because now more people will start upgrading ths= more farming...
Indeed! I had a completely maxed th8, even all black walls and in fact, after upgrading to level 9 and adding the extra defences, I got attacked even less then at th8. That was also the case without the X-Bows even, hardly any player attacked me in the first week. If you come from a maxed th8, you have absolutely nothing to fear as a th9. That's at least my experiance and I always had full 200k/200k/1000DE to grab because I am farming all the time.
Premature is NEVER a good route and WILL never be a good route even if they put 2-3 more Town Hall levels.

Sound like a lot of farmers here who park their TH 9's at 1400 lol... Good for you, I guess. Honestly, at that level, you can be a premature TH9 and still do well.
I'm in a top clan and the lowest anyone can go is to 1900 trophs... I can still farm around there, but its mostly TH9's and not always easy. Bottom line: I don't want to drop down and be in some crappy clan with a bunch of low level losers, sorry.
